8(…. Emma are you okay omg could that end up being dangerous???

nah hahah

I’m sure I took less than the highest dose. Painkillers just have side-effects sometimes, that happens. I might be a tiny bit drugged but that’s not threatening my health in any way, really.

Thanks for the worries though!

Yeah different interpretations are fun, but… I’ve seen authors ruin a character and ugh it’s horrible : ( I hate it. To mention a few: Batman, Nightwing, Starfire, Catwoman… sometimes they also ruin relationships.

I really can’t talk about this, since I haven’t read much yet. Only Marvel, not DC. Only Deadpool and a few others actually. But I can imagine it and yeah, that really sucks. D:

Yeah I know… that’s what I don’t like about comics. They always have different authors and they’re all different, and some don’t even write the character well… and then they ruin it : /

That actually doesn’t bother me that much! I noticed 90’s Deadpool is different from 21st century Deadpool, and that every issue varies too. But that’s okay as long as they don’t mess things up too much and keep the essence of the character! Different interpretations are interesting too, after all!

But yeah, there are also bad issues where too many things are off, and you have the feeling you read about a different character. :(

ameliajones replied to your post: Wh— did I miss something?? Deadpool suddenly…

I’ve read he’s crazy. Mentally unstable and all that… maybe he just doesn’t remember he speaks German? or, maybe the author just didn’t like him knowing German XDDD

Yeah I figured the writers else don’t care or just don’t want him to speak it.

He is crazy and mentally unstable! He also just went through a short phase of amnesia, but that’s over and even during that he didn’t remember who he was but he DID remember his skills.

Idk I just think every part of a character is important (he speaks Spanish and Japanese too, btw) and you can’t just take and add things for the sake of the plot of the current issue.
Like, what if it’s shown that a character can swim? And then a while later they’re at a pool party and drown because they can’t anymore. Okay that’s a bad example but you get what I mean. I’m just picky about writing.
